About Grange Pre-school Playgroup

Grange Pre-school Playgroup adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our Preschool, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

Where we are

Grange Pre-school Playgroup is suitably located on Roberts Alley, a pathway that is also joint with a Children's Centre and Primary School.

Not only does this provide a link between Pre-School education and education beyond that, but it also provides a fantastic environment to introduce children into the important steps of their education lives.

Why Us?

Each child is allocated a key worker who will build a relationship with them and their family.

We accept places for two and three year old funded children.

Each session includes a complimentary snack with a choice of fruit and a choice of either water or milk.

We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.

How can I know if you're open today?

Generally, we open Monday to Friday 8.45 to 15.00 every weekday. However, we only open during school term-time. For specific information about which days we're open go to Opening times on the Information page. This will bring you to a calendar where you can check the days when we open.
How can I book a session?

Do you have an outdoor area?

Yes! We have an outdoor enviroment for all children attending sessions to play in.
What age does my child have to be to attend a session?

We only accept children who are 2 - 5 year olds. That includes children aged 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Do you accept 2 year old funded children?

Yes, we accept both 2 and 3 year old funded children.
How much does a session cost?

The current cost is £22 per session. The lunch club which is offered is currently £5.
How long is each session?

The Morning and Afternoon Sessions are each 3 hours. The Lunch club is 1 hour long. Learn more about our sessions on the Session Information section on our Information page.
